By applying for a garage, we at Aalborg University (AAU) collect and process the following personal information about you:

• Information about your startup

The Contact person on the team:

• Full Name
• Phone number
• E-mail address

All team members:

• Previously provide personal information giving in connection with your participation in the AAU Startup Program, Internship in own Startup, Innovative Growth and/or Open Entrepreneurship.
• Card number
• Photo to the website

We do this to assess your application for a garage in AAU INNOVATE – Science & Innovation Hub. Your personal information is processed on a regular basis and stored for ongoing contact regarding follow-ups on your application, obligations as a resident in the garage and evaluation. If you are given a garage in AAU INNOVATE, we will use your information to give you access to the garage. You can at any time get information about what information we have stored about you and you can always contact us to have your information updated.

If you are given a garage, the contact person’s contact information, the name of your Startup and information about your startup, will be published on the garage in AAU INNOVATE and online on AAU’s websites, so potential business partners/collaborators can get in contact with you and so you can help inspire other students to start their entrepreneurial journey. In this connection we need your consent.

Information about all team members’ study will also be published on the garage, in AAU Innovate and online on AAU’s websites to inspire others to start their entrepreneurial journey and show the studies at AAU if their studies are represented in a garage at AAU INNOVATE – Science & Innovation Hub. We will also ask for a photo of your team to AAU’ websites.

The legal basis for collecting, processing, and storing your personal data is that processing is necessary for you to apply for a garage in AAU INNOVATE in accordance with the nature of the General Data Protection Regulations article 6(1) (e).

We will keep information about which teams get a garage in AAU INNOVATE and the information about the startup for the purpose of evaluating the effect for having a garage in AAU INNOVATE. Information published online will stay published to show which teams have been a resident in AAU INNOVATE. All other and previously provided personal information will be process according to the information, you have been given in connection with your participation the given program.

As a data subject you have the right to know which information, we have about you, you have the right to rectification is your data is inaccurate, the right to deletion or be forgotten, the right to limit the data processing, the right to data portability and the right to object. The processing of your information, including when stored in our registry, is administered by Aalborg University in accordance with the University's Privacy Policy.
